1~9 Changes

Week 9
Day 1

"Ignore the z's baby, let's do ittttttt." This is what happens when I'm whacked out on allergy pills.

Hilda is so excited for her first day of school, that she floats to the school bus.

I pay the bills - $397. Bank $9,653.

I make up some Autumn Salad in celebration of the house being quiet. For the most part. And because we're out of meals. Okay, it's not really a celebration. I just pretend it is. The weird voice tells me my cooking level has reached level 5.

I slip Ral a crouton I didn't know I had.

Some Produce, Eggs and Fish sell according to a message I receive. Bank $10,889. I also got a message that a customer was very happy with some garlic I consigned and that consigning quality items with help with my reputation. Now if I can just figure out why that garlic was so special...

After school the twins sit down with Hilda to do their homework together. At this point, I might as well just say Hilda is our daughter. Father might have popped out his belly button, but Ben and I are the ones who have taken care of her all this time. She deserves parents. Not some female flying around knocking up men and a guy who does a trick with sticking his cane out his butt.

Speaking of parents....I don't think the Autumn Salad is what has made me hurl like a sorority girl.

Hilda does the dishes for me. I love it when the kids help out, it really does take a bit of the load of Ben and me.

Day 2

Ben watering all the plants for me really helps me out, someday I dream of us getting some kind of system to at least keep the plants watered. Rain may work for the outside plants, but it doesn't for all the plants in my planter boxes.

I redo our bathroom and change it around. Our bathtub/shower was taking up a bit too much space for my liking. I also buy a dryer!  A DRYER, I LOVE IT! I get a message that some produce has sold. So add and subtract everything, which is my duty, bank $8,041.

I make Stu Surprise for dinner. I'm really glad I've learned this recipe because I can throw just about anything into it, except dirty socks, ew and it turns out good.

And yes, I am pregnant! Ben and I are going to be parents again. Woo!

Day 3

Have I mentioned that I LOVE my new dryer. I'd hug it if my baby bump wasn't in the way. We moved the shelf that was in the laundry room downstairs to make room for my dryer, that I love. So much. No more hauling wet clothes outside when it's freezing! We still plan to use the line during warm days though.

..............no comment.

More gardening and even time to coo to my little seedling. I'm hoping for a boy to be honest, but I will be totally happy with another girl.

I take Father with me to the store down the road. I consign 5 eggs and 29 pieces of produce.

....maybe I should stop bringing Father with me to this shop...

I drop off Father at home and go to the Science Center. Deanie has brought me 3 bugs today, including a Trilobite Beetle. They give me $956 for all three. Bank $8,992.

The school texts me, telling me Winter and Autumn have made the honor roll. Very proud of our twins!

When I arrive home the girls are doing their homework and Father is passed out in his rocker. I talk Ben into going with me and Ral to the dog park for some alone time. Not romantic alone time, just we need to get out of the house together alone time.

Ben plays fetch with Ral.

And I take a nap, while levitating with happiness.

We don't stay gone long since we have 3 kids and an elderly old fart at home and I wake up from my nap starving. I eat the last of the stu surprise when we get home.

Ben makes some hot dogs in the microwave. I am so not going to complain about someone else cooking.

I get a message that some produce has sold. Bank $9,555.

Day 4

I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS!

Father invited his "girlfriend" over to stay the night. She's going to have to sleep in a rocker if she wants to sleep.

....oh crap, can she hear my thoughts?!

I woke up to find the sick and twisted make-out session in my Kitchen then try to sit down to eat a hot dog, but something doesn't feel right...

THE GODZILLA PAIN IS BACK!

"You guys really aren't helping...." I tell Ben and Autumn.

They can't hear me over their screams I guess because they scream more.

I am so over this.

I scratch and claw my way upstairs, you try to climb stairs while having yourself ripped open, and make it to the nursery. I give birth to a little boy! I name him Jed after the dude on Beverly Hill Billies. (Traits - Disciplined & Brave). Jed too is born with the magical blanket all Harris' seem to have little elves inside us that knit baby blankets.

I fed Jeb than wonder to my bed. I think it's my bed. I pass out.

I wake up a few hours later and see Ben watering the plants as the girls take off for school.

I put on some clothes and tend my plants before tending to my son.

Why is she still here? I guess at least those flowers can be used as decoration...

"You're eating our food." Ben states. I have married Captain Obvious, where are his super hero undies?

"And then I told the doctor that I wanted knockers like Gracie Loveland, but he said he was out of the stuffing he put in hers."

.......I'm going to pretend I didn't hear this.

At least she washes her dish. I'll give her that one point.

Deanie welcomes to the newest Harris by taking a nap beside him. And shanking the chair with his leg.

Ral got fleas somehow. Ben gave her a flea bath.

Why is she still here? I'm asking a serious question.

Ben cleans the bathtub. I love a guy who cleans!

SON OF A....I'M BURNING MY BED! WTF BRO?!!

Ben kicks them out of room and manages to convince me not to burn our bed. Instead we wash our bedding. 10 ten times. And spray down the room with generic brand Lysol.

Garden Hoe.

Ben asks her to leave.

I make some more stu surprise, pretending the green peppers are O's head.

I get a message that some produce has sold. Bank $9,751.

"Help! This chair is in the way of me sitting down!" Father yells.

"Just sit down and eat your food, Old Man." Hilda replies. I love her.

Day 5

Autumn has started to love the chickens. She asks to be the one to feed them and if I can't find her, she's out talking to them. (Not making that up either)

Seeing Bed with Jed makes me want to have 5 more babies with him, but we have agreed that Jed will be our last child.

I pay the bills $435. Bank $9,656.

I get a message that Hilda has made the Honor Roll. Woo, go Hilda!

O and her sister invite us to a party at their house. Ben says he'll stay home with Jed, so I take Father and the girls to the party.

Oddly it's a pool party and they don't have a pool..or a hot tub..or a slip and slide..or sprinklers. Are we supposed to swim in their bath tub or something???

O pulls me into the bathroom that is complete with a dirty loo.

"Hope, I'm preggers." O tells me.

Well shiitake mushrooms and fudge bars, this isn't good.

"I'm not raising the baby." I state simply and leave. Hilda doesn't have a Mom on their earth, but this case is different. O and Father aren't pawning my little brother or sister off on us. Nope, not happening.

The one bit of good news is that I get a message that some produce has sold. Bank $9,674.

Day 6

Early morning I rise to find Father still in his swim trunks. I storm over to him, on a rampage. How could he not know how to properly arm his soldier before sending him into battle?! He should know these things by now! I fix him with "The Look" that all females are born knowing.

"SMELL MY FINGER!" Father yells, shoving his finger in my face.

Well that killed my rampage. I tell him to go take a bath and go to bed. I am not smelling his stupid finger.

Ben comforts me and lets me know we'll handle this together.

But we can't let drama stop our lives on this farm. Ben and I put on some warm clothes so we can tend the plants and chickens.

I tell Hilda were both going to be big sisters while I make pancakes. She's not too happy and resorts to some kind of alien dance to relieve her stress.

I eat with Winter and Hilda, Autumn is outside helping her Dad.

Ral is sending signals to Hilda to give her bites under the table. What a cute mooch.

Ral gives me a Luminous Gem and I gave her a pancake. I sell the gem for $278. Bank $9,952.

Deanie really loves his cat condo. So much so I wonder if I should give them some alone time.

"Are you my Grandma now? You're wrinkly like one."

Oh my sweet Winter. I adore you.

"I'm your Grandpa's mistress." O replies.

Time to send my kids somewhere, this could get out of hand fast.

Ben takes the girls down to the beach to fish.

I want Father to try to straighten out this mess with O. She's not moving in, we don't have the room, but he needs to work out visitation or..something.

O leaves to tinkle and Father gets a phone call.

Then he...has really bad gas??

Oh.

Despite our problems, I'm still sad to see my Father go. I do love him in some way and he was a good Father at times. I'm just glad the kids aren't here to see it happen.

When the kids arrive home, I have to explain to them that he's gone. Not something I enjoy doing at all.

All is not sad though. It's Jed birthday! (Yes, I will admit that I aged him up early. I really wanted to see what he looks like! XD) I buy him a cake for #30. Bank $9,922.

The twins and Ben celebrate Jed's Birthday with me.

Hilda decides to read a book for school on Father's bed instead. I feel bad for her.

Jed has my hair color and the Harris blue eyes, though I think he has Ben's bone structure.

Hilda does show up to have some Birthday cake.

Day 7

It's just after midnight, the girls are heading for bed and I'm starting Jed's potty train right away.

Ben unclogs the toilet for me. Somehow our towel has grown into our toilet...

So....O's sister kicked her out of learning she's pregnant....

I offer her a place to stay for a few days, she has to work on getting back into her house. O celebrates with a balloon....okay?

And there it goes. Off into the world by itself. So long little balloon.

O temporarily brings extra money to the house. Bank $12,202.

Ben finishes potty training Jed for me and Hilda volunteers to clean out his potty. I'm not sure why but I won't say no to it either.

We still take care of the chores as normal, though today I have to do something I really don't want to.

I lay Father to rest at the town's graveyard. We have other ghosts on the farm, I didn't want another, no offense to him.

Since I'm out, I go to the Science Center. I donate 2 bugs for $869. Bank $13,071.

I stop by the consignment store. I donate 4 eggs and 35 pieces of produce.

I guess at least O cleans up after herself for the most part. That's something nice I can say for her. About the only thing.

I get a notice that some Produce has sold. Bank $14,112.

"Do I catch it like this Hope?" Ben asks me.

O has gone into labor and you'd think Ben would know that is not how you do things by now.

I send O upstairs to have the baby there. There's cribs up there.

We find out the washer has broken, thankfully Ben fixes it and washes his hair at the same time.

O gives birth to a little boy, naming him Willie. Fitting I guess. (Traits - Excitable and Heavy Sleeper)

Hilda has been wishing for an art easel, so I cave and buy her one. She can sell the paintings or decorate the walls with them. We might need that more. Easel - $325. Bank $13,787.

(O and Willie living with them is going to be temporary. I just wanted control so I could name the baby and make sure he's not born in a bush somewhere. So once they move, they'll be taking the extra $ with them.)
